Athens Stock Exchange opening: Rise
Equity prices were rising on Thursday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index up 0.41 percent, standing at 846,69 points at 11.00 am and turnover at 6.85 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 0.49 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was up 0.16 percent.
On individual sector indices, the biggest gains were in Personal & Household (+1.18 percent), and Banks (+1.15 percent).
The heaviest losses were in Oil (-0.82 percent) and Industrial Products (-0.50 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 38 were up, 9 were down and 10 were unchanged.
