Student rally ends with minor damages reported; more rallies expected later
The student rally for the nine-year anniversary from the killing of high school student Alexandros Grigoropoulos ended in front of the Propylea in Athens.
During the march a series of clashes took place between groups of hooded individuals and riot police while damages to shop windows and traffic lights were reported.
Police have been gradually opened the surrounding streets to traffic.
Another series of rallies have also been scheduled for the anniversary on Wednesday afternoon.
