Light quake east of Thessaloniki
A light earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale was recorded at 11:21 on Monday, 30 km northeast of the city of Thessaloniki between Askos and Evangelismos.
The quake's depth of focus was just 5km, so that it was strongly felt in the centre of Thessaloniki. It was followed by a smaller aftershock.
