Constitutional revision committee to present its final report on Jan. 15, parties decide
The Committee on the Constitutional Revision will present its report to the plenary on January 15, 2019, parties decided in parliament late on Wednesday.
Main opposition New Democracy, the Democratic Rally, Potami and the Communist Party of Greece protested over the short two-month term and requested its extension.
The ten-hour discussion in plenary on Wednesday wrapped up with the address of Justice Minister Michalis Kalogirou and the vote on the deadline for the revision report.
The committee will vote on its officers on Thursday before starting its work on proposals to revise the constitution, which will be voted in by the next parliament.
