Antiquities found in house in Grevena; one arrest
Seventeen antiquities were found in the house of a resident of the northwestern Greek city of Grevena.
Police arrested the 49-year old and confiscated among others four vessels, a base of a marble pillar, a star-formed ormament, two stone mortars, a bracelet, part of metal safety pin and a copper spearhead all dated back to the Classical and Roman era.
The investigation continues while the antiquities were delivered to Grevena Antiquities Ephorate.
