We are waiting positive development in Euro Working Group, Amanatidis says
"In the aftermath of the debate on the constitutional revision in the Greek parliament and ahead of positive developmentsat the Euro Working Group, we are proceeding with the paybacks and the reduction of social security contributions for self-employed and farmers," former Deputy Foreign Minister Yiannis Amanatidis said on Thursday in an interview with ERA radio.
Commenting on the positions expressed by main opposition New Democracy (ND) leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Amanatidis described them as "contradictory" adding that they aim to satisfy the far right voices of the party.
Asked on the joint statement of the Church and the Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, he said that "nobody loses from it, instead the whole society will gain."
