Ieronymos: I welcome the PM's statements
Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Ieronymos, in an interview with Athens-Macedonian News Agency on Friday, said that he welcomes the PM's statement issued earlier that day, announcing that a bill will be drafted based on their joint communique issued after the meeting of November 6.
"I welcome the Prime Minister's statement regarding the unanimous decision taken today at the irregular meeting of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece to continue the meaningful dialogue between Church and State on matters of mutual interest. Our cooperation is an extra step in further establishing the distinct roles we hold in the service of our people and their interests," Ieronymos said.
