President Pavlopoulos on Armed Forces Day
President Prokopios Pavlopoulos stressed the emblematic offer of the Armed Forces to the glorious course of our people and our nation in his message for the celebration of the Day of the Armed Forces.
Pavlopoulos noted: "We are proud of their unpalatable ethos and their insurmountable morale. The Armed Forces prove to us daily and in practice what it means to be a worthy descendant of the Great Ancestors but also a long-standing worthy defender of the country."
The President earlier attended the doxology for the celebration of the Day of the Armed Forces at the Cathedral of Athens and later laid a wreath at the Monument of the Unknown Soldier.
