No metro service on Wednesday 28 November
There will be no metro service in Athens on Wednesday 28 November due to a 24-hour strike declared by the workers' union STASY.
The Association of the urban rail transport workers STASY as well as the Association of Athens metro employees decided to join the nationwide strike declared by the General Confederation of Workers (GSEE) and called the workers to participate in the rally held at 11:00 at Klafthmonos square in Athens.
Both associations demand "the signing of collective labour contracts, a just and fair labour arrangement, staff hiring and upgrading of the services to the passengers".
