New Democracy leading in all polls, Kikilias says
"New Democracy's leading position is clear in the figures of all opinion poll firms," main opposition New Democracy (ND) shadow defence minister Vassilis Kikilias said on Monday in an interview with ANT1 TV.
"SYRIZA is making false promises in an effort to close the gap, giving up any semblance of truth," he underlined and added: "Counter to SYRIZA's policies of desperation, New Democracy offers hope for a new start and a different way of looking at things. This is reflected in the polls," he said.
Kikilias stressed that after the elections "New Democracy will address everyone from the centre left to the democratic right to change the electoral law, to render the country attractive to investments and create new jobs."
He made clear that "Kyriakos Mitsotakis' call is made directly to the citizens, not the politicians."
"We are asking Greek citizens not to make do with misery. There must be an investment shock in the country. We can do better and we deserve it," he concluded.
