Man injured in powerful explosion at Glyfada parking lot

A car parked in an open-air parking lot in Glyfada, at 128 Vouliagmenis Avenue, exploded with a powerful blast on Friday, injuring one man and setting fire to four vehicles.
According to initial reports, the injured man has been rushed to hospital in an ambulance and the fire brigade has closed off all lanes on Vouliagmenis Avenue, in both directions. Twelve fire men and four fire engines responded to the incident, quickly placing the blaze under control.
