Asylum seekers continue protest in downtown Mytilene

Conditions at the port and the main square of Mytilene continued to be tense on Tuesday, as roughly 300 asylum seekers from Afghanistan were staging a protest for the second day.
A strong police force has surrounded the demonstrators while additional groups of Afghans were arriving in downtown Mytilene from the reception and identification centre in Moria.
