HNDS chief Floros concludes visit to Egypt
The Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDS), General Konstantinos Floros, has concluded an official visit to Egypt at the invitation of his Egyptian counterpart, according to an HNDS announcement on Thursday. The visit took place from Monday to Wednesday, January 18-20.
During meetings with the Minister of Defence and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Egypt, Floros discussed issues of common interest, focusing on current regional and international developments as well as their impact on security and stability in the wider region of the Mediterranean and the Middle East, the preservation of which is a top priority for both countries.
They also exchanged views on the conclusions from the conduct of joint exercises between the armed forces of the two countries, in the context of consolidating security and maintaining stability in the wider region.
