Wildfire breaks out in Hasia, in the Attica municipality of Fyli

According to the fire brigade, the fire has started just above the Fyli municipality stadium and is not near residential areas, while northerly winds of around 3 Beaufort are directing it away from the houses toward Parnitha.

A force of 28 fire fighters, seven fire engines and two fire-fighting teams on foot was immediately mobilised to put out the fire, assisted by a helicopter and municipality water tankers.
