Is this your vision Mr. Samaras? A Greece without Greeks?
The prime minister must keep the oath which has given and to serve the general interest of the Greek people only...
With a thousand words speech at the conference of the Economist, the Prime Minister of Greece, Antonis Samaras, has tried, but did not manage to convince the participants, that the country is changing and that is in compliance with the memorandum commitments, in benefit of -certainly- not the Greeks, who still sigh and driven more and more misery, but of the indicators of the primary surplus.
For the benefit of ... sustainability of Greek debt, for which Mr. Samaras is determined -as stressed- to do anything to ensure it, mortgaging the future of the next two to three generations of Greek citizens, since the only way to succeed is none other than the extension of the repayment for the next 50 years.
Greek citizens, who live, work or worked, because most have now been unemployed and trying to ensure their own survival, the survival of the Greek family now in extremely large percentage exceeds the poverty line, were speechless listening and reading the words of the Greek Prime Minister.
To such an extent as to wonder if indeed Mr. Samaras still listens to our society and has contact with the current Greek reality.
Not, of course, of the reality of the numbers and indicators in the primary surplus, the lending rate and debt sustainability, but the fact that he wants the Greeks, the Greek households and Greek companies to cannot be able to stand on their feet.
It was all so beautifully worded in the speech by Mr. Samaras, with the purpose to satisfy the audience and to congratulate himself, his colleagues, his partners and of course our lenders, those who just like crows wait over the head of the Greeks and continue to suck our blood, grabbing what's left in this place.
It was all so beautifully worded by Samaras, who spoke about the reforms, "which are not a luxury", but forgot to explain why they were luxury all the previous years.
What was the message that the Greek Prime Minister wanted to pass once again?
Unfortunately, that the total return of the Greek economy is not for the benefit of the Greek people and Greek businesses, but for the benefit of foreign interests.
Mr. Samaras sent a clear message: "We are open and waiting for you. We sell everything at a bargain price ..."
These words are enough to describe the title of the content of the Prime's speech, at the conference of Economist.
He described as progress of the state, the fact that a household can have a new phone-line within a few hours...
Why did he do this? To convince us that in the same way, simply, painlessly and quickly should take place the sellout of PPC.
Obviously, Samaras "forgets" an important detail. Greeks can live without phone, but cannot live without power and water (since is in your plans to also sell the water companies).
Samaras also talked about the troubled public health; an area where the faithful fulfillment of orders of troika resulted to destroy everything and Greeks to "groaning" in public hospitals.
And what Samaras finally said? That everywhere in Europe mainly use in generic drugs and that Greece was opposed because people did not want generic drugs. He spoke for those who have lost, but forgot to talk about those who earn, i.e. the multinationals which Mrs. Angela Merkel has embraced. Above all, he did not talk at all about the Greek citizens, who through a process that even doctors have characterized grossly inadequate, they forced many times, due to financial inability, to take medication of lower quality than that required to address their problem.
Others, who are uninsured, are still waiting in queue ... to ensure free access to pharmacies...
For dismantling the infrastructure of care, for the cancer patients who stay for months on the waiting list for a chemotherapy, for the SOS which emitting almost all public hospitals, Mr. Samaras said nothing. He just wanted to send the message to the foreign interests and to turn his back, once again, to the Greek pharmaceutical industry.
Mr. Samaras, with his speech at the conference of Economist, admitted that Greece was a kind of "Jurassic Park", where dinosaurs survived the last century. He made reference to Don Quixote, dragons, Orwell...
And all that, to justify the completely unjustified, i.e. the ... dinosaurs policy, which failed to care for the Greek citizens the past several years, since they had to mortgaged, with mathematical precision, the country and its future, through lending.
We lived, live and unfortunately will continue to live on borrowed money. Mr. Samaras has not directly said that, but ... he stressed that the country will exit from memorandums, but will remain, for the next several years, captive of the requirements of lenders, since the solution is none other than the extension of debt repayment.
Unfortunately, Mr. Samaras in the most categorical way remind us of something that he... forgets.
In order to send a message to his political opponents, he said that the independence of the country is served by whoever minimizes deficits and by whoever arranges long-term sustainability of the debt.
The Newsbomb as a small token of respect for the institution of the Greek Prime Minister and with a sense of responsibility towards the millions of readers, must emphasize to Mr. Samaras and the members of his government, the content of the oath which they have take, by taking duties: "I swear in the name of the Holy and Consubstantial and Indivisible Trinity to obey the Constitution and the Laws and to serve the general interest of the Greek people."
