Amphipolis - Peristeri: 'We will be over in a month',
"We will be over in a month," the head of excavations at the archaeological site of Kasta tumulus at the ancient Amphipolis Katerina Peristeri said on Friday.
"We are doing our job; no political or economic interests are involved in it. We are fighting for our research," she said responding to allegations that the excavation is serving specific interests.
On behalf of the excavation's working team, Peristeri requested that the focus remain on the archaeological work and any speculation be avoided.
