Work stoppages on Monday and 24-hour strike on Tuesday in railway services
There will changes and cancellations on all railway services in Athens, Thessaloniki and Patras, as well as the trains to Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos, on Monday and Tuesday due to work stoppages held by railway employees.
According to the Panhellenic Railway Employees Federation, three-hour work stoppages will be held on Monday from 05:00 to 08:00 and 13:00 to 16:00 and 21:00-24:00 and a 24h strike on Tuesday.
The employees are striking in protest against the continuing, as they claim, degradation of rail companies, resulting in transportation problems and a huge lack of staff.
