Discussion of 2019 state budget begins at Parliament's plenary session; to conclude Dec. 18

It is the first budget to be tabled in Parliament following Greece's successful completion of its fiscal adjustment program.

The discussion will take place over five sessions and conclude on the evening of December 18 (Tuesday). Tonight's session is devoted to the presentations of the general rapporteurs and special rapporteurs. The following sessions will include cabinet members and deputies taking to the floor alternatively, depending on their party seats.

Party leaders are expected to deliver their addresses on Dec. 18.
