Athens Stock Exchange opening: Drop

Equity prices were slightly falling on Tuesday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE). The basic share price index was down 0.39 percent, standing at 874.71 points at 11.00 and turnover was at 12.17 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 0.33 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was down 0.27 percent.
On individual sector indices the biggest gains were in Raw Materials (+1.69 percent) and in Industrial Products (+0.43 percent). The heaviest losses were in Travel & Leisure (-2.18 percent) and Banks (-1.36 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 25 were up, 36 were down and 9 were unchanged.
