Athens Stock Exchange opening: Rise
Equity prices were rising on Wednesday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE). The basic share price index was up 1.28 percent, standing at 855.31 points at 11.05 and turnover was at 4.85 million euros.
EUROKINISSI
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 1.28 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was up 1.47 percent.
On individual sector indices the biggest gains were in Real Estate (+2.98 percent) and in Banks (+2.25 percent). The heaviest losses were in Raw Materials (-9.57 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 47 were up, 9 were down and 5 were unchanged.
