In this context, "Greece underlines the urgent need for deescalation and avoidance of any further use of violence against citizens," it said, adding that the state of law and fundamental human rights and freedoms must be absolutely respected, as should freedom of expression for all including the press. These contribute to the start of a democratic discussion with the Belarus society, it stressed.
