Major quantity of heroin found in apartment in Athens

A major quantity of heroin, weighing 102.685 kg was found and seized by the Attica Drug Squad in an apartment in Athens.

According to a police announcement on Tuesday, the apartment, which is near Larissis railway station, was rented on September 24.

A search in the apartment revealed 208 packages of heroin in four bags.

Police have launched an investigation to locate and arrest those involved in the case.
