Vaccination against COVID-19 starts today in five Attica hospitals

The vaccination against COVID-19 will start on Sunday at the Attica region hospitals Evangelismos, Sotiria, Attikon, Thriasio an Asklipiio Voulas.

First will be vaccinated an ICU nurse and a man hosted at an elderly people care unit.

Additionally, on Sunday will vaccinated President of Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, parliament president Konstantinos Tassoulas, MeRA25 party leader Yanis Varoufakis, the health ministry's representative for the coronavirus professor Sotiris Tsiodras, the head of the National Defence General Staff Konstantinos Floros, the Metropolitan of Nafpaktos Ierotheos representing the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece and the president of the national vaccination committee Maria Theodoridou.

SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader Alexis Tsipras, Health Minister Vassilis Kikilias and the general secretary of the primary healthcare Marios Themistokleous will be vaccinated on Monday at Evangelismos hospital
