Appointments for vaccination booked on Thursday reached 107,000, Pierrakakis says

There were 107,000 vaccination appointments made on Thursday, Digital Governance Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis said in a TV interview with ANT1 on Friday.

The process is underway and new appointments are constantly being made, the minister said. He underlined that "as more vaccines are received, supply lines will be added. So very soon there will be a much bigger offer," and he reiterated that the system has flexibility in relation to the place where one wants to be vaccinated.

Regarding the digital certificate, the minister pointed out that 350,000 certificates have been issued so far, nine countries have entered the process and, as of July 1, all of them will be included, while noting the possibility that the obligation to self-test will be lifted for those who have either been vaccinated or have recovered from covid.
