Foreign Minsiter Nikos Dendias, who is currently visiting Vilnius, was on Tuesday received by the Speaker of the Lithuanian parliament, Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen, ahead of his address to the Lithuanian Parliament (Seimas).
They discussed issues concerning bilateral relations and cooperation with focus on parliamentary diplomacy.
Earlier, Dendias met with his Lithuanian counterpart Gabrielius Landsbergis.
The visit marks the excellent level of relations between Greece and Lithuania and the common will to promote cooperation at bilateral and European level, according to a foreign ministry post on Twitter.
After the bilateral meeting of the two ministers, talks between the delegations of the two sides followed, focusing on strengthening cooperation and developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, Western Balkans and Eastern Neighbourhood.
