FM Dendias to meet Lebanese FM Akar on Friday
Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will meet with the Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Defence of Lebanon, Zeina Akar, on Friday, July 30.
The one-on-one and subsequent enlarged talks at the Foreign Ministry are expected to focus on strengthening cooperation between the two countries, both bilaterally and with the participation of Greece and Lebanon in multilateral formations, according to a foreign ministry's statement.
International and regional developments will be discussed, among others, mainly in the Eastern Mediterranean, including the Cyprus issue, the refugee-migration issue and the situation in Syria.
After the private and extended talks, statements will be made to the press (approximately at 13:20) followed by a working lunch.
