Varoufakis: This European Union can't be reformed, it must be overthrown

Οpposition MeRA25 leader Yanis Varoufakis strongly criticised the EU, the Greek government and main opposition SYRIZA, speaking late on Thursday to the central pro-congress event at an Athens theatre.

"The other Europe is not only feasible but is here with MeRA25. This European Union can't be reformed, now we can say it clearly, it must be overthrown" adding that "at the same time the only thing that this government can offer to Greece is debt".

Concluding, he said that "we are here to overturn this system and we also need a vision for the system that will replace it. The clash is the only answer to the crisis, enough with the defeats, we move on".
