Athens-Corinth national highway traffic delays continue after accident
Traffic is moving very slowly on the Athens-Corinth national highway, in the direction toward Corinth, following an overturned truck at the 59th kilometer earlier on Holy Saturday.
The driver was rescued by the Fire Brigade and taken to hospital by the emergency ambulance service EKAV.
Police have diverted traffic since midday through the old Athens-Corinth highway and the Kinetta turnabout, with reentry to the new national highway near the Agii Theodori turnabout.
Only one lane on the highway has been returned to traffic by police, and that in the late afternoon.
