FM Dendias to meet with FM of Kenya Omamo on Monday

Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will receive on Monday 9 May the Foreign Minister of Kenya Rachelle Omamo in Athens.

The two ministers will sign a MOU between the Foreign Ministries of Greece and Kenya on the cooperation in the field of diplomatic education.

Dendias and Omamo will make joint statements to the press at about 13:55 and afterwards they have a working lunch.

The talks are expected to focus on the further strengthening of the bilateral relations in sectors of common interest, on the EU-African Union relations, the global challenges as tackling the pandemic and the climate change as well as on the international developments. It is noted that Kenya is non-Permanent Member of the UN Safety Council for the period 2021-2022.

Dendias' invitation to his Kenyan counterpart is part of the continuous meetings with the sub-Saharan countries
