Tsipras: «ERT was reopened with the struggles of its employees»
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras visited the newly reopened public broadcaster ERT on Thursday evening after his return from Brussels, accompanied by State Minister Nikos Pappas, saying he wanted to participate in a “celebration of democracy”.
“ERT was not reopened by the government, it was reopened with the struggles of its employees,” Tsipras told journalists and attendees. “Today we must all be happy and look towards the future with optimism,” he added, noting that fair struggles eventually vindicated.
