Three dead in train derailment near Thessaloniki (pics)
According to TRAINOSE, the reasons of the accident are unknown.
Three persons were killed and seven injured when a train derailed at 21:45 on Saturday and a carriage fell on a residence in the area of Adendros close to Thessaloniki.
The train with 100 passengers on board was carrying out the itinerary Athens-Thessaloniki and the accident occured 200 metres away from Adendros. A rescue operation is underway.
