Greece in much better position as regards security compared to other countries, Toskas says
"Some years ago the slightest success of the Greek police was the top story on the front page of the newspapers, but now it is an everyday occurrence," Alternate Citizen Protection Minister Nikos Toskas said on Tuesday in an interview with the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA), pointing out the important work achieved in combatting organised crime.
Toskas underlined that this was reflected in the large number of tourists coming to Greece and the safe visits of foreign heads of state.
The minister also said that Greece is in a much better position as regards security compared to other countries.
