EU Commissioner Moscovici in Athens on July 2 and 3
European Commissioner for Financial Affairs Pierre Moscovici will visit Athens on 2 and 3 July.
"This visit comes after the overall agreement reached at the Eurogroup meeting on June 22 with offered the basis for the successful conclusion of the support programme in August" said a European Commission announcement.
Moscovici will meet with President of Republic Prokopios Pavlopoulos with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and with Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos. He will also meet with New Democracy (ND) leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis and with PASOK leader and head of the Movement for Change Fofi Gennimata.
The European Commissioner will also participate in a debate with members of the Greek parliament.
