National press federation condemns Kathimerini, Skai TV bomb attack

Calling the attack "a direct hit on the foundations of democracy," the federation pointed out that the media has been subjected to several hits recently. It said that in a recent meeting it asked the Citizen Protection Ministrer for a commitment that all institutional means would be used to allow journalists to do their job without fear.

It also called on "all politicians to take a stance on such phenomena and all institutions to extend full protection for the role and freedom of the press."
