Turkish F-16 aircrafts flew over Farmakonissi

The Turkish formation flew over Farmakonissi, at an altitude of 25,000 feet.

The Turkish aircraft were recognised and intercepted by Greek fighter jets that took off from the air force base of Limnos.

A second pair of Turkish F-16s entered Athens FIR on Wednesday without submitting flight plans at 13:16 and flew over Farmakonissi at 4,500 feet; three minutes later, they flew over Agathonissi at 18,000 feet, the National Defence General Staff said.

The aircraft were recognised and intercepted by Greek fighter jets that took off from the air force base of Skyros.
