"Greece's good management, through the measures taken, to alleviate the repercussions of the coronavirus "can lead to a positive impact on the economy by improving our image," Development and Investments Minister Adonis Georgiadis said on Tuesday in an interview with ANT1 TV.

The minister noted that, "if all goes well and we win the battle in health by the end of May, then things can go much better than we think."

Georgiadis also said that a second package of measures to restart the economy would be announced in the near future and reiterated that this crisis was like a marathon. He noted that Europe should be given time to take measures and this was the reason, he explained, why it was important to be careful about "what we spend and what we promise."
