Gennimata: I am here today so that the voice of those worrying over their work is heard
"I am here today so that the voice of those worrying over their work is heard," Movement for Change (KINAL) leader Fofi Gennimata said in parliament on Friday at the Hour of the Prime Minister.
"Mr. Mitsotakis your are on the wrong path and trapped into your conservative policies," she said and added: "You are devastating wha has survived after 10 years of crisis and memoranda. This road leads to ruins, to the collapse of the productive basis, to shut downs, to recession and unemployment", Gennimata stressed.
Speaking of the conditions in tourism, she underlined that the situation is very difficult as only 35 percent of the hotels will open and thousands of workers will be without a job.
Referring to labour issues, she accused the government of implementing a specific programme to limit labour rights. "You are forming conditions of 'labour jungle' and insist on subsidising part-time employment through the programme SYN-ERGASIA."
