Athens Stock Exchange opening: Rise

The basic share price index was up 0.69 percent, standing at 648.59 points at 11.00 and turnover at 3.15 million eurοs.

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 0.67 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was up 0.26 percent.

On individual sector indices the biggest gains were in Food (+1.86 percent) and in Real Estate (+1.65 percent). The only losses were in Travel (-0.05 percent).

Of the stocks traded, 33 were up, 7 were down and 12 were unchanged.
