Deputy Health Min Kontozamanis leads team of experts visiting hospitals of northern Greece

The officials will visit the hospitals of Katerini, Halkidiki, Giannitsa, Larissa, Volos and Lamia, which are hard-pressed by the pandemic, and will have meetings with their administrations and the medical staff waging the fight against Covid-19.

Special attention will be paid to Pieria, where the epidemiological load has not shown the expected decline. According to experts, the pressure on the ICUs of northern Greece is continuing, despite a decrease in the number of cases in most parts of the country.
