Gennimata: Vaccination is a right to life

Opposition Movement for Change (KINAL) leader Fofi Gennimata on Wednesday visited the vaccination centre at the Asclepieion hospital in Voula, where she was informed about the course of vaccinations against Covid-19.

"I want to send two messages today. The first is to the citizens. Vaccination is not an obligation, it is a right. It is your right to life," Gennimata said. The second message was addressed to the government: "We need an effective public information campaign immediately so that there is no room for confusion and misinformation."

The leader of the Movement for Change stressed the need for better planning "so that vaccines get closer to the citizen, especially to the elderly who live in remote areas".

"Let us not let this hope go to waste," Gennimata concluded.
