If the pandemic follows a downward trend, more activities will open, Georgiadis says

If there is a sharp downward trend in the pandemic, the government will ask the epidemiologists' committee to open up more activities, Development and Investment Minister Adonis Georgiadis said on Monday in an interview with Skai TV.

If the pandemic subsides, the minister said, the government will reopen everything that it can more quickly because with every day that passes creates economic problems.

Georgiadis noted that he would like to allow music in bars and restaurants restaurants as well as to increase the number of people at wedding receptions to over 100 as of next Monday.

"Every [restrictive] measure we take costs money," he said.
