Tzanakopoulos: SYRIZA-PA ready to bring the political change
"Our 3rd Congress, the largest Congress in the history of SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance, sent a strong political message to society and to the government, that SYRIZA-PA is here, that it's ready, and that its main target is to bring about political change and an alternative solution against the disastrous government of [Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis]," SYRIZA-PA secretary Dimitris Tzanakopoulos said while speaking to radio "Sto Kokkino" on Tuesday.
Regarding the rapidly rising cost of living, he said that "the problem is taking on the dimensions of a humanitarian crisis, comparable to that of 2010-2014".
Tzanakopoulos also noted the 5+1 proposals outlined by SYRIZA-PA leader Alexis Tsipras at the party's Congress, saying these laid out a clear and comprehensive policy plan for reversing the trend toward the impoverishment of Greek society.
