Syriza MP Nina Kasimati elected to Unified European Left Bureau at PACE

PACE includes 46 member states and their national delegations, and the elections took place at the summer plenary session held in Palais d' Europe in Strasbourg.

Kasimati, a regular member of the Greek delegation at the Council of Europe, is a member of the Parliamentary Assembly's subcommittee on the European Social Charter and of the Monitoring Committee for member states' obligations, and her interests range from the rights of women and children to human rights and their violations in Turkey and other countries.
