Voridis briefs Amsalem on Greece’s migration challenges

The Minister of Migration and Asylum Makis Voridis, met with the Regional Cooperation Minister of Israel David Amsalem, whom he briefed on the challenges facing Greece in relation to migration.

Voridis and Amsalem described the bilateral relations between Greece and Israel as excellent and explored the prospects for further strengthening cooperation in various areas in the context of deepening their strategic relationship.

They also exchanged views on the strengthening of the Jewish community in Greece.

Amsalem was accompanied by Israel's ambassador to Greece Noam Katz.
