A 38-year-old woman who was seriously injured in an explosion in central Thessaloniki, near a bank branch and a parking lot, early on Saturday has died from her injuries.
A 38-year-old woman who was seriously injured in an explosion in central Thessaloniki, near a bank branch and a parking lot, early on Saturday has died from her injuries.
The woman was transferred to Ippokrateio Hospital but she was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The police have cordoned off the area of the explosion in order to collect evidence. The woman's possible involvement in the explosion is being investigated. According to the police, the woman has a history of criminal offenses.
The explosion caused damage to shop windows and windows of nearby stores as well as vehicles in the parking lot.
