Etihad Airways adds more flights to Athens
The United Arab Emirates national air carrier, Etihad Airways, will increase the number of the Abu Dhabi-Athens flights from seven to ten a week as of July 2, while at the same time boosting its cooperation with Aegean Airlines, it was announced on Tuesday.
Based on the codeshare agreement reached by the two airlines, Aegean Airlines will commence a four-times-a-week service between Athens and Abu Dhabi on May 28 and Etihad Airways will place its EY flight code on the new flight according to ana-mpa
Beyond Athens, Etihad Airways will also place its flight code on Aegean Airlines-operated flights to 16 Greek destinations, including the islands of Crete, Rhodes and Santorini and to 10 cities across Europe, among them, Larnaca, Madrid and Sofia.
