Hellenic Police: Maziotis behind the robbery of Kleitoria (pics)
Police released photographs of Nikos Maziotis and his accomplices in a armed robbery at a bank at Kleitoria Achaea.
According to information obtained by authorities, Maziotis was involved and seems to be the one who wounded a policeman’s leg with a gunshot. The press release issued by the police mentions: In the context of investigations conducted by the Counterterrorism Office, in conjunction with results obtained from laboratory tests of the Division of Criminal Investigation, it’s announced that:
-Organic material of a man detected from the shooting with homicidal intent of unknown offender against a policeman during an armed robbery on 03/10/2014 at the branch of the Bank “Piraeus” in Kleitoria Achaea (ref. the 03/10/2014 announcement), coincides with biological material of man detected in a variety of items seized during the arrest of members of the terrorist organization “Revolutionary Struggle”, in a house on Antheon Street 3 at Kalyvia Attica, where the wanted terrorists MAZIOTIS Nicholaos and ROUPA Panagiota (ref.: 11/04/2010 Statement of the Spokesman of the Police, the 12 and 28/04/2010 Announcements AEA) resided in apartments on the corner of Midia 7 and Paros in Kipseli and Sarantoglou 35 in New Philadelphia, which were used by the same terrorist organization (ref.: 15/04/2010 Announcement by the Chief of Police, the 17/04 / 2010 Communication Police Spokesperson, 28/04/2010), in a “giafka” on the road of Egina 8 and Idras in Kypseli, where almost all weapons were found, as announcements of the terrorist organization “Revolutionary Struggle” (rel: 20/04/2010 Notice of the Police Chief, the 20, 22 and 28/04/2010). -The same biological material was also detected in a private car used for the transportation of the fugitive terrorist MAZIOTIS Nicholas (not owned by him), with registration number ZHI-4209. Investigations of Counterterrorism Office continues.
