Dimitris Avramopoulos at EU-US meeting on migration

On the sidelines, he had meetings with U.S. Deputy Secretary for Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas and Latvian Interior Minister Rihards Korlovskis. Latvia is the next EU member-state that will take over the rotating EU Council presidency.

Avramopoulos also stood in for European Commissioner for Justice, Consumers and Gender Equality Vera Jourova, meeting the U.S. Attorney General Eric H. Holder.
