Athens Stock Exchange opening: Slightly down
Equity prices were dropping on Tuesday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index down 0.56 percent, standing at 679,74 points at 11.00 am and turnover at 1.49 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 0.70 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was down 0.16 percent.
On individual sector indices, the biggest gains were in Technology (+0.58 percent) and Commerce (+0.26 percent).
The heaviest losses were in Food (-1.98 percent) and Oil (-0.69 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 15 were up, 18 were down and 11 were unchanged.
