PM Tsipras to speak at regional conference on productive reconstruction
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will speak at a regional conference to take place on Wednesday, at Kozani, northern Greece.
It is the first out of the 13 regional conferences that have been scheduled in an effort to boost growth and improve the daily life of the citizens.
Following the conclusion of the programme review and the gradual restoration of the confidence in the Greek economy, the government focuses on the productive reconstruction.
During the first day of the conference on Tuesday, it was announced the establishment of the Western Macedonia Development. Regional governor Theodoros Karypidis in statements to Praktoreio stressed that "we will work all together for a national plan that will get us out of the crisis and will lead us to fair development."
Meanwhile, the submission of the operational plans for the strategic, sustainable, urban development of the region has been extended until the end of August.
